Backpacking

On Friday evening we went up to Kyle's parents to go backpacking. His dad has goats which he uses to help pack some of the camping equipment. So when we arrived we helped pack up the goats and got ready to go. We climbed the mountain right behind Kyle's parents house. It was a steep climb to the campsite, so we were excited to get there and set up camp. We ate freeze dried backpacking food (which is actually pretty good) and then off to bed. The next day we woke up, ate breakfast, than broke camp and headed back down the mountain. Since Saturday was the first day of the deer hunt we made sure we wore plenty of orange on the way down so no one would mistake us for deer. Talk about an exhausting trip, but is was something new that we have never done together, mucho fun.

I have never been camping with goats. Is that like bringing along a garbage disposal? It looks like you had fun. :)
